But there’s a slight kink in this particular outfit:
The cute floral skirt comes from JC Penney.
In fact, you can buy it – for like, $20 – at the end of this month on their website.
Granted, it’s part of their “designer” line, I Heart Ronson, but still…
Does Blair know she’s wearing something from a discount department store?
Or is this all a prank pulled by Doroda?

i personally think it’s adorable what she is wearing.
but, if she bought it for more than $40, then i have to admit, she’s getting ripped off. i think it doesn’t matter what celebrities wear as long as it looks good.

it isn’t a big deal! She’s probably aware of it, hell, she probably was invited to the I Heart Ronson launch and got some free clothes out of it. I think it’s very chic

Jk. I like JCPenny and I own things from their store… as with any store, some things will look “discount” while others are pretty indistinguishable from items at “upscale” stores. It’s all in how you market it.

Ummm I personally would wear that skirt today, but Blair would NEVER wear something from JC Penny no matter what “designer” it is. I like the I Heart Ronson line but I’m a real person and Blair is fake and we love her for being crazy and if she gets normal we won’t love her anymore. They need to call Pat Fields, ASAP.

Like OMG like discount? like who is like blaire wal-whateverr? (This is sarcasm). I guess shes some mainstream wannabe-celebri-snob tv personality who pays WAY too much for a trend that will be over before her daddy gets the credit card bill. It doesnt matter how much something costs if it looks cute. Fashion is about expressing yourself and having good taste. NYLON just officially became a sell-out snob publication. Readers, don’t get mad. If anything, nylon is just giving us a good deal alert! I don’t think they meant to use a judgmental tone toward JC Penney (or those of us who might shop there), but rather towards Blaire — just a little joke! Seriously, they told us because they imagined we’d see the skirt, love it, and be excited by the price and that it was within our budget!

I love it. I don’t care where clothes come from. Fashion is Fashion. And honestly, that’s why I watch Gossip Girl in the first place. It’s a great lookbook! And I am glad that the producers decided to use clothes from a department store!

I work @ JC Penney, and honestly before then I never shopped at 1 and now I do! I think it’s great she’s wearing the skirt from the I heart ronson line….personally idk if I’d wear that particular one when it’s available but we have great clothes at great prices! don’t knock it til you try it :]
