Last night, Kid Cudi, Bethany Cosentino from Best Coast, and Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij took the stage at Converse’s Three Artists, One Song show in Brooklyn.

With these three, it was bound to get a little ridiculous.

The biggest unintentional marketing coup of the night?

While Cudi was performing, one fan was a little overeager to get her hands on his Converse hi-tops.

She tried to untie the laces and pull them off his feet, but security had to step in and stop her from taking them.

Guess she’ll just have to get them at the store, like the rest of us.
