Betsey Johnson plays dress up



betseyEven if you haven’t read the Eloise at the Plaza books since, well, forever, everyone has to admit they would die for a chance to run wild like her in the Plaza.

That’s probably never going to happen.

(Plus, we’re pretty sure the Plaza doesn’t allow turtles, even if they are named Skipperdee.)

But, you can get pretty close.

Last September, fashion designer Betsey Johnson announced that she was designing a special, Eloise-themed suite for the Plaza  in NYC.

Today she’s going to reveal what the rooms look like, and pretty soon, they’ll officially be open for occupancy.

That image to the left? That’s a room in Johnson’s apartment.

Although, with all the pink overload, we bet that the new suite in the Plaza won’t be too far off.
