good idea or bad idea: opaque lip gloss?!

matteGloss that’s not meant to be..well, glossy?

It may seem counter-intuitive, but matte lipgloss seems to be the next big thing.

We’re not just talking about lip crayons (which we already know and love).

These new Liquid Lipsticks from Korres come in a gloss-but they’re not supposed to be shiny.

Granted, we haven’t attempted it yet, but now we can’t wait to give the trend a try.

What do you think?

Would you be willing to trade in your shiny lip tubes for this new addition, or is this just a case of lip gloss identity crisis?

Check it out for yourself at Sephora.

Love it! I have two tubes of these kinds (different brand though) in red and mauve. I’m not into the whole glossy lips anyway and the sponge stick really helps fill in the color up until the corners of the lips.
