New band alert: Bishop Morocco



band Toronto duo Bishop Morocco is one of those rare bands whose songs we can listen to over and over again.

Their catchy beats are a perfect fusion of pop, new-wave, and electronica.

Listen to their first single, “Last Year’s Disco Guitars,” and you can hear the influence of classic Joy Division fused with newer stuff from The Pains of Being Pure at Heart.

We think it’s an excellent combo.

An added bonus? Look out for them on their U.S. tour with Holy Fuck next month!

    just listened to the last years disco guitar’s track, not bad, they remind me of Richard Ashcroft’s earlier stuff :)
