Yet while we’re used to seeing semi-exposed girls posing in lamé hot shorts, the company’s newest model is a bit of a shocker.

Enter the hairless cat (we’re told it’s formal name is a Sphynx cat).

We have one question: WHY?!

    Those cats freak me out. Put a sweater on that thing. Wait does American Apparel make pet clothes. If they don’t and they start after reading this comment, I should get a commission for every cat sweater they sell for perpetuity.

    I agree with Halloween Sid, but I think the cat is in the pic b/c they can get away with it being COMPLETELY NAKED… which they can’t do with their actual models, as hard as they try..
