Who says print is dead?
Artist Lauren DiCioccio takes media types are are becoming more and more obsolete- like newspapers and 35 mm slides- and transforms them into works of art.
This piece is a review of Lady Gaga from The New York Times, which DiCioccio has carefully embroidered with multicolored thread.
In an internet-consumed world, she hopes to make viewers understand the importance of touchable, tangible objects in daily life.

I got to meet Lauren this past weekend at her McColl exhibit and play with her handmade cards. She was so sweet and down-to-earth, and her work was amazing!
