good idea or bad idea: designer band-aids?

bandaidsWho knew Band-Aids were such a fashion statement?

Cynthia Rowley has just produced a line of limited-edition “Dress Up” bandages, each of which features pretty designs and her signature “CR.”

We’re not sure how we feel about this form of status symbol.

At $10 each, they cost more than twice as much as normal Band-Aids.

But they’re not anything new.

Alexandre Herchcovitch has collaborated with Band-Aid in the past, and The New York Times even wrote an entire story on high-fashion bandages.

Do you care if your Band-Aids are designer?

I think its a great idea, i skate and work in fast food so i’m always covered in cuts and bandaids….. if these weren’t probably super expensive i would buy them.

They are pretty expensive! I’d be more willing to pay $10 for them, if some of the proceeds went to charity.

cute, but too much for band-aids. plus there’s already a ton of colorful and print ones that cost a lot less
