Katy Perry’s tutu tutorial



tutuDoes Katy Perry secretly wish she danced ballet?

In her press tour for her new album, Teenage Dream, the singer has been sporting tons of tutus.

Here she is performing this morning on The Today Show, wearing an especially girly number, complete with a poofy skirt and sequined top.

But this tutu obsession is nothing new.

In fact, it started when she performed at the MTV World Stage in Malaysia back in July.

And just last week, she wore this Zuhair Murad couture dress with a frilly, dance-inspired skirt.

Although we like the idea of super-feminine bottoms, it seems hard to pull off the look.

Outside of the dance studio, are tutus ever okay?

    I think that they are absolutely okay! I recently bought a tutu with little bows all over it. Problem is I never know what to wear it with.

    Not a good look. Katy is my girl but this look is a dog.

    if it were on anyone else, it would definitely be a flop. Katy can rock a potato sack and still look stunning.
