skateboardIt’s not an oxymoron anymore.

Everything from key chains to Band-aids have already received a designer update.

Now, artist and filmmaker Liz Goldwyn is putting her own mark on a line of customized skate decks for Opening Ceremony.

For Goldwyn, the inspiration behind the boards came from her old high school journals that were covered in stickers and photos.

The only downside?

They’re so cool, we wouldn’t ever want to scratch them up.

Would you buy a designer skateboard?

    I know die-hard skaters that would just stick to their own brands, instead of newcomers trying to make their mark. Personally, I’d learn to skateboard with one of these!
