carey mulligan: on the money?

carey Casey Mulligan is seriously transforming herself into a full-fledged fashion icon.

First the gorgeous VOGUE cover (even after ignoring Anna Wintour’s Oscar dress advice!), and now a series of awesome fashion hits.

Sure, she’s proven herself with some pretty fashion-forward outfits like that galactic-print Christopher Kane frock.

But check out her outfit at last night’s premiere of her new flick, Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps.

She’s wearing a classically cool Nina Ricci dress with YSL pumps.

Do you like her toned-down look, or do you wish she had gone a bit edgier?

    She looks absolutely stunning. I don’t think she’s toning things down so much as experimenting. Who knows what Mulligan’s next look will be, you know? And that makes fashion, or a fashion icon, exciting.

    I think she’s looking too thin.

    And a lot like Samaire Armstrong.

    But I like this look a lot better than previous ones.
