tr Fact: plaid isn’t something usually you wear when you need to dress to impress.

But London-based label Ashish seems to think otherwise.

Known for their love of all things glittery, they’ve given the basic lumberjack a high-fashion update by covering the entire cotton shirt in sequins.

So instead of saving plaid for lazy weekends or all-day library cram sessions, this workshirt is begging for a big night out.

And although we’re not wild about this glam plaid (which is kind of an oxymoron in itself), many people seem to love the idea- the $1,450 shirt is already sold out on Net-a-Porter!

    sartorial GENIUS- I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to get my hands on this. As any fashion-lover knows, contradictions are the foundation of style. Floral silk with leather, vintage rock tee with Chanel jacket- this is the sort of stuff that sends stylists into ectasy people!
