free music: the unkindness of ravens!
TweetPin It
An Unkindness of Ravens is a crime novel by British writer Ruth Rendell.
The U.K. group The Unkindness of Ravens shouldn’t be confused with this book, because they’re impressive entirely on their own.
The band’s electro-rock sound is intense and heavy, but not so overbearing that it’s impossible to enjoy.
And, maybe it’s because Nina Wagner’s urgent vocals remind us of Alison Mosshart, but we’re getting a major The Kills-meets-The White Stripes vibe from this duo.

Beautiful badness. A bleak glimmer of darkness to eclipse the light. Loverly.

The best band I have seen live this year. A lot of sound from just two people, and catchy songs too. Dedicated musicians who deserve some success.

Their sound is incredibly haunting. I’ve managed to see them live in a dingy little club somewhere in east London, and not only do they put on a great show, but for two people these guys are invigorating! I’m addicted!
