This is the city as a curated collection of speculative objects, a catalogue of exemplary works by Various Artists. Modern masters, street beat poets, new works of the strange familiar. Wondrous constructions, in situational installations, fragments of a lost future, artifacts of broken dreams and rose tinted optimism. Readymades, stolen, plagiarized, relabeled and scavenged from the landscapes of the commonplace. Listening to our ipod audio guide under a big blue gallery ceiling we make our way toward the gift shop.
