Leighton Goes “Black Swan”

lmWell here’s something we’ll never see on Gossip Girl:

Leighton Meester rocking messy hair, purple lipstick, and a see-through lace jumpsuit by Marchesa.

We’re not sure what’s more shocking:

That the outfit is clearly “Boudoir Chic” -

Or that it looks so much like the Black Swan aesthetic from Darren Aronofsky’s upcoming movie.

Our two favorite things about the outfit:

1. The crystal strand necklace, which is both elegant and ultra-modern.

2. The purple lipstick. Which is pretty extraordinary.

    The outfit would be better suited on a taller girl, but it does take a lot of confidence to put it on. Props for that!

    I think she would have looked better if she didn’t go full on with the look. I think different shoes hair and accessories would make her look less costumey.

    I hate it! I top half of the jumpsuit and her make up looks ok, but the bottom is hideous, makes her legs look huge

    one thing I have noticed about leighton on the red carpet: her eyes always look tired! i feel like she needs some under-eye brightener or some subtle eyeliner to jazz things up. that aside, i love the purple lipstick!

    hmm i think leighton is beautiful and dares to wear many different outfits, the great majority look stunning on her. this one though… i have some difficulty with liking the bottom part… from the waist up its perfect, love the purple lips, the necklace and the upper part of the romper. i dont think it looks so good from the waist and down.

    It’s great, no complaints here! I think a lip colour without a metallic finish would have suited her better, but it’s her look – not mine.
