anne hathaway, james franco, and the oscars?

fdsIt seems like forever until Award Season rolls around, but rumors are already swirling about who’s hosting what.

The best one we’ve heard so far?

Word is that Anne Hathaway and James Franco are joining forces to host the 83rd Academy Awards this February.

We think this is an awesome idea: the actors are both young, have movies currently in theaters, and this tag-team hosting approach is sure to make the Oscars a little more fun.

And although we haven’t sat through the entire awards show in years, this duo might just make it worth watching.

Are you into this pairing, or do you have a better suggestion?

Ummm.. yes!!! This sounds like a great idea to update the Oscars. Why does it always have to be an older person hosting when young people are acting and involved in the movies just as much as they are. Franco is smart, super funny and yes, dreamy and Anne Hathaway is quite charming and classy. Sounds like a match made in heaven.

This sounds like a terrible idea. I don’t think it has to be an older person, but I think it has to be people who are more interesting than these two. They are so unbelievably boring, and only mediocrely talented. Maybe people’s speeches will liven up the night. blah.
