Gwyneth Paltrow famously covered Cee-Lo’s “Forget You” on Glee. Now Taylor Momsen does it for BBC Radio. Oh my.

Gwenyth’s. No matter how much I despise Taylor, I will admit that she has a great voice, but she just looks and sounds too much like Courtney Love to be original in any way.
I prefer the rendition of the song by Glee, but I think Gwyneth and Taylor both have the same tone when it comes to singing the song. I think Cee-Lo did it best.
I just can’t like Taylor no matter how hard I try. She tries sooo hard to be like Courtney Love and just….isn’t. Plus she was looking at the lyrics. FAIL.
may binabagayan kasi na kanta yung boses ni taylor e. hindi siya bagay sa kanta na to, masbagay yung kay gwyneth. pero kung sa genre naman ni taylor, hindi bagay kay gwyneth. kanya-kanyang galing lang
I gotta give it to Taylor. The Gwenyth version was obviously more fun but Taylor’s voice sounded amazing on it. Plus, she didn’t look as gross as she normally does so I’ll give her that too.
Surprised people are saying Gwen, hers is so over produced and autotune anyone? Taylors is surprisingly good, I like how she did the original arrangement as well. Taylors voice is less generic as well which is why I like hers more.
both have amazing voices but i’d have to say paltrow. if the rasp in momsen’s voice sounded less generic i would have chosen her. in trying to give her voice texture she comes out sounding like she’s imitating courtney love… and let’s face it, you either got it or you don’t – and if you don’t have it, it’s a hard quality to fake.

Momsen!!! Forget “Who” you like and listen to the voice! Taylor Wins, She’s got a great voice weather you like her or not.

I think singing wise Taylor has a better voice and sings it better, but as a whole Gwenyth’s is better.

I think Taylor’s is better, it’s more original, Gwen’s is too much the same as the original.

Taylor momsen’s so fucking awesome

Gwen. Taylor looks like a tranny hooker and i just can’t support that.
December 15th, 2010 at 8:19 pm
I’m cool with cee lo’s version.
I don’t like the sound of taylors. she did it well in her way, i just had no interest in hearing it (i did listen to it all the way through).

Two different styles…oneĀ“s rock and other is more pop….Both are good. =)

Taylor Momsen.
Deffo.

I don’t fine Taylor’s voice original in any sense. Though she does a good job… Gwyneth blows her away.

I definitely prefer Gwyneth Paltrow’s version over Taylor Momsen’s.

Paltrow!!!
December 16th, 2010 at 4:18 pm
Taylor Momsen can suck it, Gwen can actually sing no autotune. Plus Momsen is, in the famous words of the Spice Girls, a wannabe
December 18th, 2010 at 11:11 am
I love gweneth’s so much! Both are good renditions but probably because it was on a tv show it feels more put together and definitely more fun!

Gwen all the way. Taylor Momsen makes me want to punch babies.
