Bootie and the Blowfish
It is so cold, we must stop wearing our canvas sneakers outside, and we are not happy about it.
But we’ve found a sort of sneaker-boot that we can rock until someone creates a shearling-and-high-top partnership (wait, why hasn’t this happened already?).
Anyway, these shoes are from Blowfish, and they’re called the Hodge.
We like their Ode to Shearling upper, their boiled wool fabric, their color, and the fact that they look really warm without looking like Antarctic fishing gear.
Also, no leather, if you’re concerned with that.
Also, they’re under $60 bucks!
If you still need a pair of boots for dry but frigid winter weather, this is a good bet.
PS: Was this entire story just an excuse to use the headline “Bootie and the Blowfish?” Maybe
But you’ve gotta admit, it’s a really cute shoe.
PPS: Remember when the cast of Friends went to a Hootie and the Blowfish concert as part of the plot? And it was supposed to show how cool they were? Whoa.

Blowfish has a whole line of booties, and they’re the best. Super comfy and stylish.
