Good Idea or Bad Idea: Clip-on Bangs?

bangs

Confession: I’ve wanted bangs ever since stumbling upon my mom’s old Francoise Hardy record.

So what’s the hold up?

Well, I’m terrified.  I’ve seen enough friends make the plunge to know the faulty turn of fringe.

Plus, the upkeep can be annoying… and quite risky if trimming your own.

New at Urban Outfitters’ Beauty Counter: “Simple clip-on bangs made with 100% natural human hair, so you can curl, cut, color and style just like your own hair.”

My first response: Hmmm…..

Sure, it’s kind of creepy in theory…

But it will definitely give me a more accurate assessment than uploading a picture of my face to a virtual makeover website (yes, I’ve tried this. Guilty.).

I bought some Ken Paves and Jessica Simpson clip in bangs a while back
I had ambivalent feeling towards these because they can look Uneven.

Eh they seem really cool at first but not really.

I’d try them simply to get a feel of what a fringe would look like on me. I remember my disaster fringe of 1997 all to well, so as much as I would love to take the plunge and get another cut in im really not that brave. So this would be a great idea to get a feel of what fringe style would suit moi. But the price tag for one of these beauty’s is a little much.

sounds like a great idea, but i’ve never seen them look good on.
