I want a tattoo, but I’m terrified of needles / Kat Von D / eternity.

Instead, I’ve started inking my skin with eyeliner.

My favorite is the Napoleon Perdis Neo Noir eyeliner pen.

The tip is so precise that it takes a little practice – literally, where you press the pen is where you’ll get the makeup, without any lag time – but it’s given me the most exact and most long-lasting fake tattoo so far.

Granted, I haven’t tried it in other colors -

But I don’t know if my imaginary tattoo would be any color but black, anyway.

($20 online. Also works for actual eye-lining.)
