all laced up

ribbonFirst came the skin-tight bandage dress back in the late ’80s (thanks, Herve Leger!).

Soon after this Hollywood favorite was introduced, it was quickly followed by bandage skirts and even lace-up bandage shoes.

Now, are bandage tights the next step for the trend?

These nude tights from Wolford feature a ribbon-like motif weaving its way up the leg, so you can stay warm while still making a serious fashion statement.

Although the look could go very wrong, very fast, we think that with the right dress, it just might work.

Do you agree?

Hard for Wolford to ever go wrong. I like this along with other well made bandage garments. Obviously it will work if you know what to pair it with.

I think these would work very well with a pair of cut of shorts a pair of booties, a black T-shirt or over sized tank top.

Best with a ballet inspired tea dress a la Betsy johnson and some hot pink velvet platform stilletos
