Her drawings are better than his, still “whimsical”, but she also is a trained architect and does amazing large scale exhibitions of gorgeous hand-drawn landscapes completely with lines and waves. I’m talking 6 to 10 feet wide murals, they are sculpture.
Marta Johansen is her name, she’s been in the game forever.

alec- you kind of seem like a prick. those two artists are doing totally different things, you cant say hers are better when they are both trying to accomplish different things.

I think that Marc’s stuff really reminds me of a modern (albeit less dark and gothic) version of Gorey’s drawings. Good stuff!
