First Look: Emma Watson x Alberta Ferretti
Do you love the look at left?
It was designed by Emma Watson for designer Alberta Ferretti.
The two have teamed up on a collaboration, with all the outfits Ms. Watson creates being made from organic and fair trade materials and labor practices.
Plus, her style icon for the capsule collection was Jane Birkin, which is an automatic “yes, please.”
The range debuts on AlbertaFerretti.com at the end of this month. It retails from around $250 to $1200, which is quite expensive – But then again, so are fair labor practices.
Will you invest in an Emma Watson original?
(We vote yes. In fact, we’re already trying to hack into the Alberta Ferretti site to buy this top right now. #Obsessed.)

I personally I would not invest in that; It looks lovely but there is no way I would pay that much for clothes. There are much more inportant things I could use 250-1200$ on. Lovely line tho.

I kinda excepted it to be on the more expensive side as it’s a luxury line.
Her People Tree Fair Trade Line is the cheaper of the two for those students who can’t afford to spend that much on a top or if you’re a male (like myself) as this capsule collection seems to just be exclusively womenswear.
LOVE what I see so far though. And I love the message behind the clothes.

To be frank, sometimes it feels as if celebrities are styling and pricing for others like themselves. I am completely in support of the organic clothing movement, but how is it to move forward if the common human cannot afford it? It is a shame that healthy and happy living can sometimes only befall the wealthy. Great designs, though!
