a more expensive mona lisa

You would think that the original Leonardo di Vinci Mona Lisa would be expensive enough, right?
Not for a Chinese jewelry collector, who recently decided to replicate the 16th century masterpiece using 100 thousand carats of jewelery.
We hear that this mystery man (who refuses to be named) spent the last 30 years collecting the specific jewels for the project and the past 5 years assembling the piece.
And while the new version isn’t on display at The Louvre, like the original, the public can still see it- it’s on display at a major shopping mall.
Somehow, that seems totally appropriate.
