hear me now: sweet lights

sweet The cover art really says it all.

The debut solo project from Philadelphia musician Sweet Lights (real name: Shai Halperin, who you might know from former groups The Capitol Years and War on Drugs) is retro-tinged, lighthearted, and, well, totally sweet.

And while these qualities might be obvious, with the clean melodies, swaying vocals, and Pink Floyd-esque undertones, the music is obviously way more than meets the album cover.

We think it’s perfect for long walks on the beach (seriously), cruising with the windows down, and living out all our technicolor summer fantasies.
