fdBarbara Millicent Roberts – she’s really done it all.

Popularly known by her nickname, Barbie, she’s gone from 1950’s pin-up to modern career woman, tackling roles like veterinarian, teacher, and even rock star.

And now, Barbie is taking the art world by storm.

This new line of Fine Art Barbies that recently debuted at this year’s Toy Fair pays tribute to all the greats: Da Vinci, Van Gogh, and Gustav Klimt.

We can’t say she looks like the Mona Lisa so much as Renaissance Barbie with super-glam hair, but hey – we give her props for trying.

    Now that’s a barbie I would want to collect. Pretty awesome.

    I wish they would do Warhol, Pollack and Basquiat! That would be super cool!
