Sandals are great, but if you plan on stomping around a big city all day, they aren’t so practical (trekking up stairs, through subway paths, on sidewalks…you get the picture).

These Hobes by Story are a great closed-toe alternative for summer.

They feel like booties, but their light rubber soles make them perfect for weightless strolling.

Available in denim, canvas or suede, we can imagine paring these with everything from lacy white dresses to casual cutoffs.

The only problem is…we can’t decide which ones to get.
