Here is Blake Lively in Chanel Haute Couture.

We’re normally not huge fans of the short skirt / long train situation, but this is a great exception.

Not only is the draping framed nicely by the white opaque flowers at the thigh, but it also mirrors the sheer cap sleeve.

The all-white palette makes it look ethereal as opposed to Gwen-Verdon-in-the-bedroom.

And a big pile of gold tangled bracelets are a great, subtle nod to Blake’s Rapunzel hair.

(Also, look closely at Blake’s eyes, which are dotted at the inner corner with a pale shimmery shadow- something her character, Serena Van Der Woodsen, also does on Gossip Girl.)

So is Blake Lively officially the most famous girl in America now?

Well, she’s certainly dressing like it.
