Joni Sternbach is awesome because:
a.) In her series “Surfland,” the NYC-based photographer takes tons of pictures surfers in their natural habitat (a.k.a the beach).
b.) She doesn’t discriminate between old and young, novices and pros, which we love.
c.) Even if you don’t surf yourself, you can still appreciate these seriously impressive images.
d.) 4th of July might be over, but who says we can’t daydream until the next holiday weekend rolls around?
