Prada & the Pirate
TweetPin It

Prada’s Spring 2011 collection featured an amalgamation of trends, yet still managed to look subtle and chic.
Take for example, the shoes at left, which feature the espadrille, brogue, flatform, and neon trend all in one.
Pretty awesome, right?
So it’s no surprise Jeffry Campbell’s gone ahead and made his own version of the shoe (at right).
One question: Which do you prefer?!
Prada Platform Oxfords ($795 here) / Jeffrey Campbell Ad Long ($165 here)

Personally I prefer the look of the Jeffrey Cambell’s, but I don’t usually support obvious knockoffs.
Although it is tempting at 20% of the price.

I actually like Jeffrey Campbell’s version with the black & white brogue the best. Plus, as a normal person trying to make ends meet, price can play a huge part in preference

Honestly? Jeffrey Campbell. 100%

The original, of course. I’m not impressed with the JC version, even the colorways are so similar. Flatforms are selling like hotcakes, so no wonder someone had to do it …

These aren’t so different from “creepers”…and, they’ve been around for years.

the shape is totally weird on the jc’s, they should have tried to do their own look a little more and it would be more appealing than an obivous bad knockoff

I like Jeffrey Campbell better.

I could never spend $800 on a pair of shoes, especially one that is so limiting. JCs absolutely, I could care less if it is a knock off.

subtle, my ass! there’s nothing subtle about those 4-inch platforms.
