Ever since the new EP from Body Language landed on our desk last week, we haven’t been able to get this Brooklyn-based quartet out of our heads…and that’s a good thing.
It’s easy to compare longtime friends Grant Wheeler, Matt Young, Angelica Bess, and Ian Young to fellow electro-pop groups like Passion Pit, and it does make sense, considering they’ve shared the stage on more than one occasion.
But even with these natural similarities, these guys are clearly breaking out into their own with Social Studies.
With twitchy beats, lots of synths, and slinky disco melodies all wrapped up into one slick package, it’s the fastest way to get pumped up for the weekend.
