A few weeks ago we took note of Anrealage’s F/W 2011 collection’s pixel-inspired vibe.

Now the tech-y trend is popping up again, this time in an interactive installation art piece by Jonas Vorkwerk and Yoren Schriever for the cultural festival Motel Mozaique.

Check out the artists’ clip, “Pixels Motel Mozaique 2011,” to see how they represented the digital building blocks.

If you ask us, Vorkwerk’s and Schriever’s actualization of the pixel-inspired concept took the form of a glowing, futuristic playground for adults (that looks like it was peeled right off of a cell phone or computer).

Now that the digital-screen theme has made a significant appearance in both the art and fashion worlds, we have to wonder—where will pixels be popping up next?
