The Drums love summer.

After all, the Brooklyn band’s 2010 self-titled debut release (released last June) was stocked will nostalgia-inducing garage pop all about surfing, sand, and friends.

In other words, the best parts of the season.

And now they’re gearing up to release their follow-up disc, Portamento, next month.

Although the album will officially drop during the September 12 (which is technically early fall), you can bet this record is every bit as sunshine-filled as the first.

But just in case you don’t feel like waiting that long, the guys are giving away a sneak preview a few weeks early.
