The name Mathieu Santos should sound pretty familiar.

As the bassist and founding member of Ra Ra Riot, we’re betting the guy’s made several appearances on your iPod.

But for the first time ever, Santos is stepping away from his band (temporarily), and releasing his solo debut.

Dubbed Massachusetts 2010, the 10-song album is filled with uniquely sweet melodies and simple lyrics, proving that easy listening can be far from boring.
