Rooney Mara and Amanda Seyfried both wore Calvin Klein’s nude-colored dresses at recent red carpet events. Rooney chose to make hers more fashion-forward with a wine-stained lip, blunt bangs, and a plunging neckline. Amanda takes the more “Hollywood” route with round-toed mega-pumps, shiny cheerleader hair, and sweet cap sleeves. Who wins the Calvin Klein showdown?

Wish Rooney’s was shorter, but they’re both gorgeous!! I think Amanda pulls off a better entire look.

Hey, uh, that’s not a cap sleeve on Seyfried’s dress. If you’re going to write about fashion, at least get the terminology correct. (Just look on wikipedia, even.) It’s a quarter length sleeve.

Amanda. Rooney looks like she’s going to be in a wedding. I hate that hemline- can we get her in something less matronly, please?

Amanda looks better but its nothing i havent seen before! Im just not a fan of Rooneys dress at all.

I love love LOVE Amanda’s dress but Rooney’s just doesn’t hang right. She looks gaunt. I won’t ever understand why people wear plunging necklines when they don’t have the boobs to fill them out. It’s not flattering, not to mention that I feel like over the course of a couple of months, her style did a Taylor Momsen (not that I’m dissing Taylor, I love her, really. She’s a great singer and performer. I just feel like her style change was too much too quick). I mean, Rooney and Amanda are both twenty six. Amanda’s dress makes her look twenty one while Rooney’s makes her look like she’s moving into her late thirties. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR YOUTH WOMAN!

It’s unfair to compare these two styles because they’re just so different. Amanda’s is safer which makes her the obvious choice for most, but personally I admire Mara’s new found fashion edge.There is nothing wrong with her dress, and the is nothing wrong with how it sits on her body. It’s just a whole different side of fashion. So, personally, I love LOVE love Rooney’s look.
