Best Dressed: Katy Perry in Gucci

KatyThere were lots of gorgeous outfits at The Grammys last night, but our favorite was Katy Perry in Gucci.

The singer channeled a space-age Cleopatra with a crimped blunt bob, black liquid eyeliner, and a dripping gold gown that was opulent and stunning without being too Hollywood -

Thank the blue hair and pink lip gloss for that.

Part of the reason Perry wins this round of Best Dressed is because she’s doing something completely unique, a little bit insane, and one black lipstick away from being a fembot costume instead of a modern and messy version of ultimate luxury.

    I’m in love with that dress, not sure how I feel about her hair being crimped though.

    I liked her red-carpet outfit too although I saw many people say it was too matronly. I’m not a huge fan of the bob. When she’s blue, it’s edgy. When she’s blond, it’s soccer mom. Sometimes Katy Perry is just too much, but this year she looks amazing.

    What about the powder blue dress (may have been Elie Saab) she wore for pre-show/red carpet?! Pretty gorgeous too, but this one has an awesome neckline and [somehow] works with her hair.
