First Look: Twenty8Twelve Fall 2012

Twenty8TwelveWe’re always so appreciative of a great fashion illustration.

This one was created with Twenty8Twelve’s new head of design, Elsa Elphick.

It comes with a quote:

“For months and months I was with [her] all the time, except between four in the morning and four in the afternoon, when she slept. She very much liked to have a shadow…”

The passage is from the photo novel Love on the Left Bank by Dutch artist Ed van der Elsken.  The book’s heroine was “played” by the Australian artist Vali Myers, who looks like a plumper, messier, and more eyeliner-ed version of Florence Welch.

Let’s see how many versions of her appear on Sienna and Savannah’s catwalk tomorrow in London!
