Best Dressed: Florence Welch

Last summer, Florence Welch told us she was going through a Stevie Nicks phase.

This winter, it doesn’t seem to be showing any signs of letting up.

Here is Florence arriving at the BBC office wearing a flouncy mustard-colored suit, along with floral sleeve cuffs, a paisley scarf, a giant oxford shirt, and velvet platforms.

Her hair is loose and her makeup is rather gorgeous -

Tawny eyeshadow painted all the way out to her brow edges, white shimmery highlight lined over black eyeliner, and chunky mascara.

Gosh she’s cool.

Also, this is a great example of how to transition from winter to spring -

Rich colors, lots of layers, and patterns interspersed with solids and flashes of white (or black.)
