NinaSo far, all our favorite examples of color blocking have involved really bright colors, like fuchsia and orange or lime and forest green.

But Nina Dobrev takes a different spin on the trend with this outfit, worn during John Varvatos’ charity concert for Stuart House with the Dave Matthews Band.

Nina pairs a cobalt blue blazer with a navy blue tank, midnight blue jeans, and a black Mulberry bag.

She keeps her makeup simple and goes with a platform heel in black and ivory.

Nina’s blazer looks like this one from Alice + Olivia, which costs $368.

If you can’t commit to that, try Charlotte Russe’s $37 version, or a more structured, military-meets-mod one from Guess ($97 at Bloomingdale’s).

    The outfit is superb! I am quite a fan of the colours and the way she pieced everything together. Nina, being a Canadian girl, I believe her blazer is the Chevalier blazer by Wilfred for Aritzia in Celestial.
