I think the trailer was perfect. I entices people read the book let along see the movie. I don’t understand the big up roar about Kristen Stewart being topless in the trailer. First, it seems that no one gives this girl credit nor has seen her other movies. Chic has been ‘topless’ in previous roles (The Cake Eaters & Breaking Dawn pt1) and played roles that weren’t PC ::politically correct:: (Welcome to the Rileys). Second, read the book people!!!! Topless in a trailer is nothing compared to what is in the book which if played out in the film (which to do justice to the book, I hope they are) will be interesting to see.
I think if this movie has stayed accurate to Jack Kerouac vision, I think each of the main character will garner some sort of honor. Each actor individually are great and to see them all together in a literary masterpiece that explains a generation, will be nothing short of EPIC!

This looks like shit but at least the cars are cool. I can’t stand when they make movies out of quality books and they don’t live up to expectations.

    Sarah –

I completely agree. It’s like they didn’t even read the book. I hate, hate, hate, hate this.
