dLet’s face it: there was never any doubt which coast Bethany Cosentino and Bobb Bruno like best.

But even so, the duo’s new single is a happy-go-lucky ode to their home state of California.

The title track off The Only Place, the band’s follow-up to their hit 2010 record Crazy For You is stocked with their nostalgic surf pop sound- but this time around, it’s accompanied by cleaner guitar sounds and smoother, slicker production.

Our only question: will we be seeing more of Snacks, Bethany’s famous cat, come May when the album drops?
