It’s a bird…it’s a plane…it’s…a huge train looming over New York City?
Jeff Koons, the artist behind those balloon animal sculptures in the Met’s rooftop garden, is in talks to do a project for The Highline Park downtown.
Aptly titled “Train,” the massive construct (which weighs several tons) will be held up by a giant crane directly above the walkway.
We’re already paranoid about ducking under ladders and scaffolding…so as cool as this installation is, we might have to walk around it.
