Screen shot 2012-05-02 at 11.27.42 PMThis week, Target releases a whole new slew of Hello Kitty appliances.

They’ve still got the classics: Hello Kitty toasters, Hello Kitty waffle makers, and of course, the Hello Kitty sewing machines.

But now they’ve also got a bubblegum pink mini-fridge, a dust buster, a rice cooker, and the crock pot at left.

It’s $30 and super cute -

But do you want pink kitties and bows all over your kitchen counter?

HELL YES I DO! I worked at a toy store for many years and have racked up all kind of HK kitchen stuff simply because it was easier to buy pretty HK measuring cups or mixing bowls or cookie cutters or Popsicle molds from my own work then having to walk all the way to a more generic store to buy more generic items. If there’s one room in the house that can get away with HK overload, it’s the kitchen. Ok and maybe the bathroom too. Just not the bedroom, at least past the age of 10.
