Good Idea or Bad Idea: Nail Rings?

Nail art is cool for many reasons, one being that it’s easier to adopt than a new trendy wardrobe.
But though it’s changeable with just a swipe of remover, you can’t pull it off as easily as, say, a piece of jewelry. Enter the latest possibility: Nail rings.
These black crystal-studded triangular rings are just a little punk, and remind us of something Daenerys Targaryen would wear when she’s handling her dragons. (So naturally, we like them…)
They’re easier than gluing studs to your nails, and that gunmetal black will go with pretty much any polish. And at only $10 each, you can totally afford one per finger. (If you’re feeling really dangerous.)
The downside to these things is… well, they might just be too trendy for their own good. (Read: Can’t you just put a glitter topcoat on and get over it?)

Why not?! The more types of accessories the better!

Better than piercing your fingernail (like I did in the fifth grade). So ghetto. lol

I don’t think I understand…
Do you glue it on at all? Or can they slip off? How do you keep them from falling off every time you move your hand? Clearly, too trendy for me.

LOL this is so unnecessary! We should be out finding a cure for AIDS and cancer not making stupid things like this. Priorities people!

It looks cool, but wearing it would get annoying after 10 minutes.

I would wear one if my fingers weren’t so freakishly long and thin- I can never find a ring that doesn’t slip off the first day I wear it. If these have some way to securely attach them, though, then sure, why not.

Lala, I really think you’re missing the point. Also, there are people trying to find cures for those things. I don’t think it’s something designers are really trained to do. :-/ If we said that about everything then the world would really be a dull and boring place. No new music thanks, we want a cure for cancer, no photographs, art work, films, tv programmes, no fashion or clothing or beauty products. We’ll just sit in darkness and silence till they find that cure! No fun allowed!!!!!

These are dumb. I put them in the same category as toe rings…so I’m sure they’ll be hitting the local malls soon.
