Best Dressed: Lana Del Rey
We’ll fully admit this is one of those outfits that might only look good because of the person wearing it.
But part of great fashion is pairing the right look with the right girl, and we think the slightly outrageous but ultimately fantastic outfit at left does just that.
Lana pairs a short white dress with white beaded jewelry, a white pearl necklace, and nude strappy sandals.
Her hair is in a Priscilla Presley kind of updo, and secured with a cluster of metallic flowers.
Her eye makeup is vampy and smoky, as if Brigitte Bardot gave an eyeliner tutorial in Nashville.
And ultimately, the only thing we don’t love about this look is the fact that Lana’s neck and chest appears to be a little sunburned -

I’m really having a hard time trying to figure out how this outfit is “slightly outrageous.” It’s just a white dress. I don’t get it. If anything, maybe the height of her hair is slightly outrageous, but as you pointed out this is very typical of past decades. And anyone can wear a sleeved white dress, right?

Meh… I could take it or leave it. It’s just a white dress and the shoes aren’t even unique. I wish she would smile more, she kind of reminds me of Kristen Stewart looking unimpressed in every situation.

Sorry but I don’t get this girl. She never dresses particularly well and she can’t sing all that good. The Amy Whinehouse rip off hairdo isn’t doing her any favors either. Nylon please don’t cheapen your magazine by glorifying this chick.
