Here’s a home accessory sure to delight your friends and infuriate your mother:

The high top pillow.

Shaped like a converse but stuffed with fluff, this trompe l’oiel is a pretty joyful addition to the Fred Flare catalog.

The upside:  It looks really cool.

The downside: It’s $32.  For one pillow.  Sigh.

But maybe Converse will see it, and do a sneaker-print duvet cover for 2013?
