So this one time at my former employer, we set aside a set of jewelry to be sent off to Jennifer Aniston. Among the simple, twinkly pieces was a pendant with two charms of initials (obviously J and A). For whatever reason, the jewelry never made it to Jennifer, so when my former employer closed up shop and my kindly coworker packed up all the things on my desk (I was on vacation. It actually ended quite well for me.), I – "MM" – ended up with this "JA" necklace.

I still wear it. Why not.

Maybe not my own initial but another initial, maybe after someone or something that is one of my favourite things, that way you retain a sense of enigma and when people ask you what it's after, you can give a stylish shrug!
