sjpToday in the New York Times, style reporter Guy Trebay remarks that “Hurray for the Riff Raff’s lead singer, Alynda Lee Segarra, is to a certain group of Brooklyn women what Sarah Jessica Parker is to readers of Vogue.”

Okay. Cool.

We twirled this idea around in our minds a little bit, and then wondered…

“Wait.  Who is our SJP?”

As in, who’s the person whose every manicure, handbag, restaurant choice, and shopping destination makes you immediately drop everything?

    Alynda has always been making her own clothing out of anything she finds and wearing them out in public for the admiration of her many faithful fans who are naturally attracted to her good looking, unique, new mode fashionable sense of being. Her haunting, possessive, Americana auroral singing/writing style entwined with the Folk/Blues of her unpretentious life packages her into an unknown, yet when glanced, a glamourous admired Jessica Parker! QUICO!
