Years ago, we’d banished mirrored shades to the island of dudes who wear “Stunna Shades” and fist pump in non-ironic fashion.

Then recently, they started popping up on some of our favorite faces and we’ve now been forced to re-consider.

I mean, how cute is Jessica Alba in her reflective crimson wayfarers?

And now everyone from ASOS to Marc Jacobs is giving the trend a second-life, forcing us to take a good hard look at ourselves – literally – with their mirrored variations.

So help us decide, are mirrored shades “frickin’ awesome!” and the latest and greatest trend to hide your mascaraless/bored/hungover/stoned eyes or are they best left on the faces of… you know, those guys?
