Good Idea or Bad Idea: Mood Makeup
Mood rings have been our ultimate accessory since we decided we wanted to be Vada Sultenfuss in My Girl and we’ve been applying makeup to match our mood since we were old enough to wear eyeliner (heavy liner = be afraid).
But mixing the two in the form of “mood makeup” just never quite got us.
Mood makeup for grown-ups has been kicking since the 1980′s, but now it’s being sold by Urban Outfitters and Topshop, which generally means: people are actually buying it!
Like mood jewels, the lipsticks, glosses and blushes react more to light, moisture or temperature than your actual mood, but you get the idea.
Since we can barely choose which lip color to wear everyday, one part of us loves the idea.
However, the novelty of your makeup changing colors mid-convo could be a terrifying gamble…
Should these product be saved for entertainment purposes only or would you put one into every day rotation?

Gotta say never. I tried this once, no matter what I started with I looked like s*** ten minutes later. That equals Fail for me.
